Milkhouse Farm & Dairy
Situated in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Milkhouse Farm & Diary is run by wife-and-husband team Caitlin and Kyle White. They began in 2010 with 10 purebred British Milk Sheep milking ewes, and have since grown to 64 ewes who provide them with all the raw milk needed for their artisanal cheeses. The sheep enjoy rotational grazing and shady pastures throughout the farm, and their diet is supplemented twice daily with certified organic grain. The cheeses are made in small batches, by hand, from unpasteurized milk that is never frozen. All cheeses are aged for a minimum of 90 days.
